Kaitlyn tried out for the Pensacola Junior Chorus back in January and made it. This is the first year they have had a 3rd grade chorus. Anyway, it goes all the way up through high school. It is a real big deal here. Maybe because there isn't much else but the beach, nonetheless, she made it. She was so excited about her first concert. I have to say their little voices were beautiful. Daddy came in for the weekend as well and so that was nice too.

Yes he is still at the ranch and believe it or not he is substitute teaching!!! He tells all the kids just to call him Mister. I can hear all those little black kids now---It has to be hilarious. He is actually teaching high school. I had a picture of him too but Kaysi didn't think it was a good one and took it upon herself to delete it. She spent a day in the closet for that one.
Ahhh, Wendy...she is a little cutie pie! So hip with those cool glasses - I can't wait until Max can wear glasses like that!
So glad to hear your Dad was able to visit you guys. I hope he's doing well. That's pretty funny about him teaching - who would have thunk! :)
I can't stop laughing at the thought of poor Katie sitting in the closet. Did you slip slices of turkey under the door for her lunch? Hee-Hee! I think it's hilarious that your dad is subbing, but I bet he's pretty good at it. He doesn't take crap from anybody, and that's what you have to do to be a good sub. Good for him!
Okay are we missing someone here?? The one that has been nagging to no end about how I need to start blogging and now I have a new post and whose comment have I not received yet???? Hmmmmm----let's ponder a moment. Oh she has time to take pics of herself but do I have a comment yet?? Oh but no----

For your information, I finally quit checking this blog because for 3 weeks now we have looked at the same post. I mean, I am busy and I just can't spend my time on idle posts. I go to where the action is. Way to finally get in the groove, Wendy. You almost lost us, you almost lost us. In fact, since you had given me your sign-in and password, I was about to get on YOUR BLOG and update the silly thing. SHEESH!
Tell Katie B her Aunt Kristi is SOOOOO PROUD of her and I expect her to call and sing to me on my birthday. (May 18 for all of you who didn't know that who might want to send me a gift or gift card or something)
Jen Jen I have to say the thought of you becoming my bff, well I will be honest I really gave it some thought. But I don't know if you know this or not but Kris and I used to communicate through our mother's umbilical cords. And well, that really strikes a "cord" with me (okay I am laughing so hard I can hardly type). Anyway, that bond is stronger than any absence of blogging could ever take away. sniff sniff

You girls have me laughing! Smiling too. I am sitting here in my own little world snickering to myself. I'm sure I look/sound silly.
Anyway, sweet picture of little Katie! I wish we had chorus or at least a children's choir at our church. I miss it for my children. TRBC had all that as I was growing up. Ahhhh the memories!

Wendy, I am laughing at the thought of Katie B in a choir. I just can't see her standing there all professional and serious singing like she is an opera singer. I picture her looking around the crowd, grinning from ear to ear and waving at you and Roy. Ha!
Kris, you will not believe how serious she is taking this whole chorus thing!! Although this next concert they are doing some kind of fun songs and get to do different motions and all so God only knows what will happen when she is actually unleashed!!!

Okay, I'm just now getting to reading blogs BECAUSE I've been out and about doing things with FRIENDS for the past few days. So much so, that I haven't been able to check my OLDER high school friend's blogs. Oh well, sounds like I didn't miss anything exciting...

Roy's mom was in town this weekend with my 2 nieces and no Kris I didn't get anything. She is "broke" right now. Anyway, we were doing stuff so I did not get around to blogging. And I am going to check both of your blogs to see if there is anything new as well. So there again!!!!!!!
