KAYSI TURNS 12

Kaysi actually turns 12 on Wednesday but we had lunch at Lillian's Pizza and Pop, Honey, Will and Syd and the kids met us there and we ate and had cake. Just a few pics from that. I will post more on her real birthday.

NEW BIKES!!!

We decided to get the girls new bikes this weekend. We sold their old ones before we moved because they were outgrowing them and the kids next door have bikes and are always riding. Anyway, they were so excited!! It makes you feel good when your kids really appreciate things. Especially since mine only get bread and water once a day. hee hee hee!!! Katie really wanted this bike but it was a BRATZ so Roy bought some goo gone and took all the BRATZ stickers off for her. --- Here are a few pics of them

I have no idea what for but anyway, Jen you must have spent the summer up there with Andrea and so momma and I decided to ask Kayla Rae to drive up with us so she could see you. TIME TO GO NIGHTY NIGHT!!! OBVIOUSLY WE HAD RUN OUT OF IDEAS---

TAXES!!!!!!!!!!!

okay I know it was my fault for waiting until the last mintue to do my taxes but I did. So, I normally do them myself but since we sold the house last year and I just started this typing thing last year I thought I would go and have them done. So I did. I go to Jackson Hewitt. I make an appointment. I walk in. Do I get either of the 2 decent ladies sitting behind their computers?????????? Oh no----------- I get the lady that has just walked in from her smoke break. I get the lady who is about to cough up a lung, literally. Everytime she coughed I cringed thinking her lung was going to land in my lap. No, I get the lady who is shaking so bad because she has not had a cigarette in the past 15 seconds that she can barely type. No, I get the lady that reads each question off of the screen and then looks at me for the answer. Finally she asks the manager to help her with one question she is struggling with. Then from there on I just kept saying hey why don't we wait until she gets done and let her help us. I didn't want to offen the lady but for crying out loud. So finally the other lady comes over and reviews everything thank the Lord before we submitted it. Can I just say I went through a whole bottle last night!!!!!

BRACE FACE!!!!!

Kaysi finally got her braces on today!!! She was so excited. Of course she was playing it cool like she really didn't want to get them on but down deep inside she was dying!! She only got the wire put on the lower ones because they are going to have to expand her palette up top before they put wires on up there. Katie gets her palette expander in a few weeks then braces later on down the road when she loses more of her baby teeth. Needless to say we are eating bread and water for a while!! It is ridiculous how expensive it is now. Anyway, just wanted to share a pic!!!!

STRAIGHT A's FOR KATIE B!!!!!!!!!

Well report cards came home yesterday and yes my little Katie B got STRAIGHT A's!!!!!!!!!! She hopped in the car and was so excited!!!! It is always a struggle with her, God love her because Kaysi usually always gets A's and it comes very easy for her like it did me. But Katie has to work a little harder and she just doesn't understand why. Anyway, this was a big deal for her and I was so proud!!! And to make it even better Kaysi got a B on her report card so you want to talk about the icing on the cake!!!!
