Kaysi finally got her braces on today!!! She was so excited. Of course she was playing it cool like she really didn't want to get them on but down deep inside she was dying!! She only got the wire put on the lower ones because they are going to have to expand her palette up top before they put wires on up there. Katie gets her palette expander in a few weeks then braces later on down the road when she loses more of her baby teeth. Needless to say we are eating bread and water for a while!! It is ridiculous how expensive it is now. Anyway, just wanted to share a pic!!!!

Kaysie Peyton....you are one stylin' momma. Now you remember that when you go to kiss a boy, you have to make sure you don't have chewed up sandwich from lunch stuck in your braces. Ha! You look marvelous!

I can so remember getting braces and how weird they felt. One of the few reasons I wouldn't want to go back to being a teenager.
Kaysi will be 12 in 2 weeks. And believe me it is hard for me to think I have a child that old. I actully still feel around 12 or 13 personally. I so remember getting braces too. And always hoping momma would forget my appointments to get them tightened. Never happened though. Darn that Donna, always on top of everything!!!

My son Josh is turning 12 in a couple of months and he gets his pallet expander on in 3 weeks. Yuck! then we start with the braces. I pray he is the only one who will need them because they are just dang expensive!
