HOME SWEET HOME

Okay ya'll did it. Major guilt trip about not blogging and I am bored so I went around taking pics of the house (without me in them mind you) and also even though no one has mentioned it I know deep down inside everyone has been wondering what kind of mansion we are living in here in beautiful Florida. Well don't tell anyone but this is really just the guest house. It would take me several days to actually take pics of our "real" house but anyway here you go-------------

Now Wendy - you need to learn the in's and out's of blogging - you NEVER admit that you're waiting for comments. Play it cool (like you use to do when dating) and more people will comment. Be cool girl, be cool.

LOVE your guesthouse! I still haven't figured out how long you guys have lived there...please fill me in! I was in Pensacola this past September to see my nephew at PCC - wish I would have know you were there. :(

I'll get Kristy to give me your email address so I can send you Shari's information. She would love to talk to you!

Jen---Roy has been here since last January but the girls and I came down last May after school was out. We lived in his dad's 1 bedroom condo until last month. Anyway, we are just renting this little "guest" house until the girls get out of school and then we are going to decided where exactly we are moving. We kind of want to move closer to the Alabama border. His brother and his family live out that way. Next time you get down this way give me a call. I would love to see you!! Here is my email to give to Shari----wynwyn69@yahoo.com

Wen, thanks for the grand tour. Cute little place but what in the world did you do with all your furniture?

I noticed that you had several pictures of your bathroom. Are you still spending a lot of time in there?

Jennifer, is PCC still as bad as it used to be?

Kris, there is a big shed in the back that I have put a lot of my furniture in like Katie's furniture and my kitchen hutch and stuff.

I don't know if PCC is still as bad as it was Jen but you can sure spot PCC girls in Target or wherever with their skirts down to their ankles. It is funny because now the girls will look at me if they see a girl with a long skirt on and say I bet she goes to PCC mom. I am so bad!!!

You better watch it because God just might call your girls to go there. Be sure and let the girls grow their hair out so they can braid it in one long braid down the back one day.

yes and have the one line of pimples going down their back from their greasy braid----

Oh yes, PCC is still the same - they're worse than Bob Jones!! Bob Jones girls don't have to wear hose anymore and they can wear pants to soccer and basketball games - I NEVER thought that would happen!

When we were there it was in October and very hot and very humid. Those poor guys were sweating because they had to wear jackets and the poor girls were wearing panty hose with open-toed shoes. You definitely lose some fashion points when you attend PCC!

Laughing. I haven't seen the pictures yet, and I am laughing at your comment about it being the guest house. Danny's sister and I always talk like that about your house's. For example, if she calls me and it takes me awhile to get the phone, I will say something like, "sorry I was in the the west wing of my house and had to walk to the master suite in the north wing to get the phone." Anyway, funny. Now let me go see the pic's.

Oh, and by the way, laughing again at your comments. My grandparents live in Schererville,IN, close to Hyles Anderson College--ever heard of it? When we would go to visit my g.parents my mom, and sisters and I would point out the HAC girls AND boys (preacher boys we call them) as we were out and about town. They are always so easy to spot.

Typo 1 comments up SORRY! We talk like that about OUR houses, not your....duh Denise!

Okay, I'm liking the guest house. Do you feel like your on vaca since your are renting someone elses home? I felt the same way when we moved here 3 years ago. We rented this nice furnished home while we left our things in Atlanta waiting for our house to sell. I LOVED IT...then our house sold and we bought a house here...reality set in QUICK! Enough said!

Denise, my cousin and his wife went to Hyles-Anderson. Actually, the church I used to go to, Mr. Anderson's daughter was the youth pastor's wife. My cousin got kicked out b/c he was driving back to campus in a blizzard from work and went off the road and was three hours later for curfew. They expelled him! I almost get mad at places like that. They make Christ and serving Him become bondage to people.

Denise, I am laughing about the house comments. How is Debbie doing?

Wen, LOVE the house, excuse me, guest house. Can't wait to see the mansion that goes with it. You forgot to show the pool, indoor bowling alley, and media room. For shame! Love you!

Carrie has left numerous messages on Wendy's blog but not on her sister's.........I DON'T GET NO RESPECT!!!!!

Girls, I am just rereading the comments and laughing. Again, sorry for my typo's and misspelled words. I tell you, the longer I stay home with my sweet children, the more they plug away from my brain. For 10 years now, I have been doing the stay at home mom stuff. Love it, but my brain is ssslllooowwwwlllyyy shrinking away.

About HAC and that church you mentioned Kristi---my grandfather actually retired from HAC as a staff member. Long story of how he got there, but basically he worked there for many years as a "body guard" (too funny) and a driver, security, visitor guide, etc. He did most of this in the later years of his life. He stuck with is because HAC took care of him. So to him, it didn't matter so much about the oddities of HAC, what mattered was that he and my grandmother were taken care of finacially. Anyway, there are many HCA stories, but I do think now that Jack Hyles has died the church/school is doing better.

See---PLUG???? That would be pluck! They pluck my brain!!!!
